Englewood Baptist Church will host a Grocery Give Day Thursday, May 27, at their North Highland campus, according to its Facebook posts.
The event will be held at the church , located at 2239 North Highland Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Englewood is currently packing grocery boxes and hygiene bags for anyone in the community.
“We have a great opportunity for you,” one post said, “We need volunteers to help prep and serve at an upcoming grocery give day on May 27. This ministry has reached so many over the past year and we can’t wait to pass out boxes of food and hygiene items to those in need in our community. If you’d like to volunteer in the days before or the day of, email lhawks@ebcjackson.org.”
