Jackson police responded to a shooting at 216 Roosevelt Parkway Tuesday morning, according to a Tuesday morning news release.
Jackson Police were dispatched to a shotspotter alert in the area of 216 Roosevelt Parkway around 9:35 a.m. May 25. As officers were responding to the shotspotter alert, dispatch was receiving calls from residents about a subject that was shot on Roosevelt Parkway. Responding officers located a victim in the area who was transported via emergency medical services to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Jackson Police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the shooting and ask anyone with information to call 731-425-8400.
