The Jackson-Madison County School System will livestream high school graduations this week, according to a news release from school system.
All five graduation ceremonies will be carried live on YouTube and available for later viewing on the school system’s YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/JMCSSvideos. These broadcasts are free and do not require a subscription.
“Although the student ticket allotment for Oman Arena was expanded from 10 tickets to 20 tickets, we know there are several families, supporters and alumni who want to be a part of these commencement exercises. I want to commend members of our technology department for their hard work in making these live streams available,” said Greg Hammond, Chief of staff and public information for JMCSS.
The graduation schedule for the Class of 2021, which includes five high schools and 699 seniors, is as follows:
- ● JCM Early College – May 18th, 6PM
- ● Madison Academic High School – May 20th, 6PM
- ● South Side High School – May 21st, 4PM (at the Carl Perkins Civic Center)
- ● North Side High School – May 22nd, 10AM
- ● Liberty Technology Magnet High School – May 22nd, 6:30PM.
