Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 11,445 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for two more case of COVID-19, according to a Wednesday morning news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total of 11,445 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 16 to 83.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. None of those patients are on ventilators.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
