The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Hardeman County until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
At 3:00 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Canaan, or 18 miles northwest of Ripley, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Hazard…quarter size hail.
Source…radar indicated.
Impact…damage to vehicles is expected.
