NWS: Significant Weather Advisory Has Been Issued Until 8:45 A.M. for Central Hardeman County and Northeastern Fayette County

The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a significant weather advisory for Central Hardeman County and Northeastern Fayette County until 8:45 a.m.

At 8:21 a.m., a strong thunderstorm producing winds at least 40 mph was located near Somerville, or 15 miles west of Bolivar, moving east at 20 mph.

Very heavy rain, along with continuous cloud to ground lightning, are also possible with this thunderstorm.

People in central Hardeman and northeastern Fayette counties should monitor this storm closely.
