Jackson Police are investigating a shooting in which a subject was shot multiple times at 1336 Campbell Street, Sycamore Creek Apartments Sunday night, according to a news release from the Jackson Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to a shooting at 1336 Campbell Street around 7:03 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival officers located a black male victim that had been shot multiple times. Officers rendered aid including application of 2 tourniquets. The victim was rushed to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services with life threatening injuries. Officers, also, located narcotics at the scene.
