Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are seeking assistance in identifying a theft suspect, according to a Thursday afternoon news release from the department.
The release said a black male suspect entered Dennis Mitchell’s Automotive on Hollywood Drive Tuesday, April 27. The receptionist was away from the desk and video surveillance footage captured the suspect walk behind the desk, open the register and take an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect was last seen leaving in the passenger seat of a green Chevrolet Stepside Pickup.
