Health Department Confirms 11,118 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for five more cases of COVID-19, according to a Monday morning news release. There is now a cumulative total of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 19 to 58.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
