JPD: Suspect Sought in Shooting, Attempted Robbery of Elderly Man Caught in Memphis

A 39-year-old man, Marvin Holloway, Jr., has been arrested for the shooting and attempted robbery of an elderly man that occurred March 22, 2021, on Ivy Hill Drive, according to a Sunday news release from the Jackson Police Department.

At about 1:45 p.m. March 22, the suspect robbed/assaulted an elderly couple then shot the male victim while inside their home in Jackson on Ivy Hill Drive, according to JPD news release.

Holloway was taken into custody in Memphis around 2 p.m. Sunday. Holloway has additional charges in Memphis and will later be arraigned in Jackson City Court.
