The Gibson County Sports Hall of Fame will honor Outstanding Student Athletes for 2020 and 2021 at the Hall of Fame’s induction event, Fri., April 16, at 7 pm. at Gibson County High School in Dyer.
Outstanding Student Athletes in the graduating classes of 2020 and 2021 at the county’s six high schools will be recognized.
These students were selected by their schools because of their participation and achievements in academics, athletics, school activities and community organizations.
Family members, friends and fans of all honorees are encouraged to attend and celebrate as these inductees are honored. There is no admission charge. Tickets are not being sold for the event. Seating in the gym will allow for social distancing.
The Outstanding Student Athletes in the 2020 graduating class were:
• Bradford – Hannah Avery and Hunter Avery
• Gibson Co. – Macey Neal and Stephen Overstreet
• Humboldt – Victoria Reid and Na’kel Williams
• Milan – Karlie Alexander and William Carter
• Peabody – Caliah Anderson and Bryce Franks
• South Gibson Co. – Aly Goodman and Nolan Stidham
The Outstanding Student Athletes in the 2021 graduating class are:
• Bradford – Blair Mercer and Tevin Schoonover
• Gibson Co. – Savannah Allred and Ethan Ward
• Humboldt – Jakiya Jefferson and Bobby Johnson, Jr.
• Milan – Katelyn Bradford and Seth Roberson
• Peabody – Josi Greene and Carson Vandiver
• South Gibson Co. – Brylee Bone and Landon Lambert
