Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 100 Block of Skyhaven Drive Wednesday.
Around 9:20 p.m., March 31, officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting on Skyhaven Drive where they located a victim victim suffering from what appeared as a non-life threatening gunshot injury. Officers also located a second victim who did not appear injured. The victim with the injury was transported by Emergency Medical Personnel to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspect in the shooting was identified as a black male wearing a dark colored hoodie.
Jackson Police do not believe this was a random shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
