The Southwest Head Start is now taking applications on three and four year old children for Chester County Head Start in Henderson, Tenn., according to a Wednesday morning flyer.
There are no fees for services, the flyer stated.

- Research–based curriculum (Teaching Strategies) used by teachers to promote school readiness skills
- 3 – Star rated classroom by the TN DHS licensing
- A nutritious breakfast and lunch served
- Comprehensive services including: health, mental health, dental, nutrition, family services, and parenting skills offered using the Ready Rosie Parent Curriculum
Now providing two-classroom options:
- Classroom option: Your child will be enrolled in the classroom setting and attend class 4 days a week and 1 day virtual learning.
- Full Virtual Option: Your child will be enrolled to receive all services provided by Head Start including meals for the Head Start child.
The Head Start family will be provided a tablet with age appropriate activities while enrolled.
