Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 10,857 Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 17 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Wednesday news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total 10,857 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 3 weeks to 77.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Seven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. None of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
