Jackson Police had a special visit from Cub Scouts Pack 18 Tuesday, February 23, according to a Wednesday morning news release from the Jackson Police Department. The scouts meet at Malesus United Methodists Church; members consist of grades K-5th grade.
Escorted by their Den Leader Ms. Amber Fillingim along with Sgt. Childs and Officer Mitchell. The Cub Scouts learned about the duties of a police officer and received a tour of the police department.
K-9 Jax and his handler, Officer Williams, were very excited to meet all the scouts! Jackson Police always value opportunities to interact with children.
