The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the evening of Wednesday, February 10 through Thursday, Feb. 11.
The following Tennessee counties are included in the watch: Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson. Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison , Obion, Shelby, Tipton and Weakley.
The NWS said confidence is increasing for the possibility of significant ice accumulations for the areas shaded in blue. Possible impacts are hazardous travel, power outages, and downed trees.
