JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has created a Rapid Response List for Madison County residents wanting to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

The health department occasionally has leftover COVID-19 vaccine that must be distributed within a certain time frame before it expires. Starting Monday, Jan. 4, Madison County residents can sign up to receive the leftover vaccine on the health department website at http://www.jmchd.com/.

Madison County residents who sign up for the Rapid Response List must be able to be at the health department within 30 minutes of receiving a call. Names on the Rapid Response List will be visible to the public on our health department website.

The COVID-19 vaccine is not currently available to the general public. We will make an announcement when we receive more vaccine and move to the next phase of distribution.
