Health Department Confirms 153 New Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 58-year-old male died Nov. 24 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 126 in Madison County.

The health department received positive test results for 153 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 7,437 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 1 to 83.

Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Thirty-three Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Five of those patients are on a ventilator.
