Health Department Confirms Four Additional COVID-19 Deaths, 75 New Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms four additional COVID-19 deaths, according to a Friday morning news release from the department. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 121 in Madison County.

The newest deaths include:

  • 74-year-old male (died 12/6/2020)
  • 57-year-old female (died 7/18/2020)
  • 81-year-old female (died 10/4/2020)
  • 66-year-old female (died 10/25/2020)

The health department received positive test results for 75 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 6,711 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 1 month to 96.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Twenty-nine Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Five of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
