151 New Reported Cases of COVID-19 and a Total of 89 Deaths in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms an 85-year-old male died Nov. 8 due to complications from COVID-19. This brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 89 in Madison County.

The health department received positive test results for 151 more cases of COVID-19. There are now 4,669 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 2 to 97.

The department will be host a media briefing at 2 p.m. Friday.

There have been 436 COVID-19 cases reported since Sunday, Nov. 8 and 656 cases reported since the last media briefing Wednesday, November 4.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Twenty-two Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Five of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
