Solid waste convenience centers in Madison County will close one hour earlier starting Sunday, Nov. 1, according to a Thursday afternoon news release from the Jackson Madison County Regional Health Department.
All convenience centers will close at 5 p.m. November through January. Convenience centers stay open until 6 p.m. February through October.
“We do this during the time change for the safety of citizens and attendants,” Environmental Health Program Director Candy Overstreet said.
