Health Department Confirms 3,375 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 19 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Tuesday morning news release from the department. We now have 3,375 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 11 males, 7 females, 1 unknown and range from ages 14 to 78.

Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
