The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will host a free virtual five-week program for people living with diabetes and prediabetes, according to a Monday morning news release from the department.
The Take Charge of Your Diabetes workshops kick off Thursday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m.
The classes will take place online Oct. 22, 29 and Nov. 5, 12, 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The workshops cover a variety of topics including blood sugar monitoring, nutrition labels, healthy eating, and more.
