The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 19 more cases of COVID-19, according to Director Kim Tedford. We now have 2,547 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases include 6 males, 13 females, and range from ages 2 to 96.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Twenty Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
