Health Department Confirms 2,508 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 22 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Monday news release from the department. We now have 2,508 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 11 males, 11 females, and range from ages 18 to 87.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Eighteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
