The BBQ Plate Fundraiser for Breanna Brown will be held at 12 p.m. October 10, 2020, at Morris Chapel Fire Department, located at 3410 US 70 in Camden, Tenn.
Breanna Brown is a 26-year-old mother of two boys. Three years ago, during a complicated surgery, her bladder was damaged. Over the past three years, she has endured 28 surgeries only to be left with pain, and a catheter due to a bladder that is damaged beyond repair. She has been on bed rest now for five months, unable to work or be the mom she wants to be.
Brown is scheduled for one more surgery and it is a major surgery. She will undergo a cystectomy where her entire bladder will be removed and she will have a stoma and ostomy bag for the rest of her life. This surgery could help her get a better quality of life, even if it is not ideal, for her it is an opportunity for a better life with her children.
Brown’s surgery is October 15, 2020, there will be a long road of recovery following the surgery.
