Starting July 31, Jackson Animal Care Center, will begin running an adoption special every Friday to coincide with its #FurryFriday promotion, according to a Tuesday morning Facebook post by the center.
All pit bulls and pit bull mixes (like Koa, Jackson, Phoenyx, Jazzy, etc) will be $50 on Friday and Saturday and everyone who adopts a dog at any time will get a swag bag full of goodies for their new best friend.
The center asks that you help spread the word that adoption is the way to go when adding a new pet to the family.
All adopters will be screened as normal. Application does not guarantee adoption. The center tries to find the right fit for every animal and takes its responsibility to operate in their best interest very seriously.
