238 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for two more confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to a Sunday morning news release. We now have 238 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include:

  • a 73-year-old female (hospitalized)
  • a 29-year-old female (not hospitalized)

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to people who had close contact with these cases.

Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized.

The release said 198 Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and eight people say they are feeling better.

The department  also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
