The NAACP Jackson Madison County Branch will present A Community Conversation: Racism & Confederate Symbols at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at 91 New Market St., in Jackson, Tenn.

According to a flyer Jackson Madison County NAACP Branch President Harrell Carter will be joined on a community panel with City of Jackson Mayor Scott Conger, Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris and Tracy Boyd BLM-Jackson President, Dean of the Law & Leadership School and NAACP member. Boyd said Wednesday night in a Facebook live video that he has since been told that Harris and Conger will no longer be in attendance.
