HEALTH DEPARTMENT CONFIRMS 180 CASES OF COVID-19 IN MADISON COUNTY

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for one more confirmed case of COVID-19, according to A Monday morning news release from the department. We now have 180 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The most recent case is a 57-year-old male, who is not hospitalized. The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to people who had close contact with this individual.

One Madison County resident is currently hospitalized with COVID-19.

The release said 164 Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and nine people say they are feeling better.
