COVID-19 CASE COUNT REMAINS AT 179 IN MADISON COUNTY

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has received test results for 179 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County, according to a Sunday morning news release.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to people who had close contact with these individuals.

The release said one Madison County resident is currently hospitalized with COVID-19 and on a ventilator.

The department reported that 164 Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19 and eight people say they are feeling better.
