There are over 390 new cases of the novel coronavirus in Tennessee, according to Monday’s data from the Tennessee Department of Health.

As of 2 p.m. Monday, there are a total of 13,571, with 13,502 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 69 probable cases.  The death toll has risen to 219.

There have been 6,081 recoveries. The department said it defines recoveries as people who have been confirmed to be asymptomatic by their local or regional health department and have completed their required isolation period or are at least 21 days beyond the first test confirming their illness.

A total of 1,143 people with COVID-19 have been hospitalized, but the department noted that while the number indicates the number of patients that were ever hospitalized during their illness, it does not indicate the number of patients currently hospitalized.

A total of 211,443 tests have been taken.
