Giving blood is an essential activity and all healthy individuals are urged to give blood the next chance they get, according to Lifeline Blood Services.

Due to the extra social distancing measures, blood drives may look and feel a bit different, but, blood donors are urgently needed, especially as more people begin to resume medical procedures they had postponed. There is also a daily, ongoing need for blood for patients with cancer, blood disorders and emergencies throughout the community.
