The City of Jackson released a public service announcement Wednesday morning about citizens taking precautions as the city’s economy reopens during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The PSA features Mayor Scott Conger, who reminded citizens to follow the CDC guidelines of wearing a face covering, washing hands, practicing social distancing and encouraging those who need or feel they need a tests to get one. Congers also asked those who have preconditions to limit their exposure.
Conger says the city is not returning to normal and that citizens have to adjust to a “new normal” by protecting ourselves and others.
