The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has received positive test results for one more confirmed case of COVID-19, according to a Sunday afternoon news release from the department. The total number of confirmed cases remains at 135 in Madison County.

The release said one of the confirmed cases had an old address listed in Madison County, but that person no longer lives in Madison County and will not be included in Madison County’s count.

The department also received another positive test result Sunday for a 67-year-old female. Her hospitalization status is unknown at this time, the release said, but the department is reaching out to people who had contact with the patient.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
