
The 48th Annual RunAJM Jackson Andrew Jackson Marathon has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 12, according to a news release from the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and organizers of the marathon. The marathon was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4.
The release that “The safety of all those involved with the RunAJM Jackson Andrew Jackson Marathon is of the utmost importance. In keeping with the recommendations of the CDC and guidance from local governmental health officials on the coronavirus (COVID-19), the decision has been made to postpone.”
Location, times and routes will remain the same, only the date has changed. Organizers are hopeful that all of the participants and volunteers who have signed up to participate on the original date will join them for the new date.
The Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and organizers of the RunAJM Andrew Jackson Marathon wish to thank all of those that have helped with moving the run date to a safer time of year for all.
