We will continue to monitor COVID-19 developments and NAIA leadership will work closely with our member institutions to determine the best path forward for future NAIA events, including all spring 2020 championships.”
The NAIA said registration fees for the convention will be fully refunded and that the convention will not be rescheduled.
“The current plan is to hold an abbreviated virtual meeting for the Council of Presidents, a one-hour virtual caucus, and a full virtual business meeting,” the NAIA said in a statement. “The logistics and schedule of these meetings is still being determined and more details will be provided to members next week.”
