The 32nd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration presented by The Society For African-American Cultural Awareness (SAACA) will be held Saturday, June 19!

The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on the street in front of  the T.R. White Sportsplex, located at 304 N. Hays Avenue, in Jackson, Tenn.

There will be live music performances, music by DJ Rhemyxx, merchandise and food vendors.

There will also be guest speakers, FREE COVID-19 vaccine shots by Taylor Medical Center. Ease your fears and talk about your concerns with local black scientists about the vaccine- Moderna and Johnson & Johnson available).

Also in attendance will be D-180 Fitness, Meet Miss Jackson Juneteenth M’Kenzie Lumas-Harmon and the contestants of the Inaugural Miss Jackson Juneteenth Pageant and much, much More!

Bring your lawn chairs, wear your masks, and social distance as we commemorate one of the oldest African American holidays. est. June 19, 1865!
