The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for nine more case of COVID-19, according to a Friday morning news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total of 11,415 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 5 to 36.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
One Madison County resident is currently hospitalized. That patient is not on a ventilator.
