The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will distribute the COVID-19 vaccine to Madison County residents ages 75 and older at the Jackson Fairgrounds on Thursday, Jan. 7, according to a news release.

The drive-through vaccination event starts at 9 a.m. and will last until all of this vaccine allotment has been distributed. Please enter the site on Magnolia Street.

Only Madison County residents ages 75 and older are eligible to receive the vaccine at the drive-through event. Please bring valid identification to prove age and Madison County residency.

The COVID-19 vaccine is not currently available to the general public. We will make an announcement when we receive more vaccine and move to the next phase of distribution.
