100 COVID-19 Related Deaths and 50 New COVID-19 Cases in Madison County Confirmed by Health Department

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms four additional COVID-19 related deaths, according to a Tuesday morning news release from the department. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 100 in Madison County.

The newest deaths include:

  • 57-year-old female (died 11/21/2020)
  • 74-year-old female (died 11/22/2020)
  • 48-year-old male (died 11/23/2020)
  • 96-year-old male (died 11/23/2020)

The health department received positive test results for 50 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 5,398 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 3 months to 81.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Twenty Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Six of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
