Jackson Police Department Make Arrest of an Aggravated Burglary and Peeping Tom Suspect

The Jackson Police Department have arrested a “Peeping Tom” suspect, according to a Friday evening news release from JPD.

The release said an incident of ‘Peeping Tom’ (observation without consent) occurred on 09Tuesday, Sept. 15, in a subdivision off McClellan Road in Jackson during the early morning hours while it was still dark. With the assistance of the community, the investigation resulted in the arrest of Gregory Rishawn Thurman for aggravated burglary and observation without consent.

The release said Thurman was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from his home in Parsons, Tenn. and appeared in Jackson City Court on Friday, Sept. 25.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed, the release said. Members of the community are encouraged to contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 if they have any footage or additional information they feel may be helpful.
