Health Department Confirms 2,888 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 28 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Monday morning news release from the health department. There are now 2,888 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 12 males, 16 females, and range from ages 6 months to 75.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Ten Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
