Health Department Confirms 2,828 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 28 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Saturday morning news release from the department. There are now 2,828 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 10 males, 18 females, and range from ages 11 to 86.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Eleven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
